Provenio Litigation LLP and Emma Charnock shortlisted at Liverpool Law Society Awards

Provenio Litigation LLP is delighted to be shortlisted for the Law Firm Award (1-99 employees) at the Liverpool Law Society Awards 2023 - with partner Emma Charnock also shortlisted in the Outstanding Lawyer category.

The Liverpool Law Society Awards highlight the talent, diversity and skill across the Merseyside region and beyond. The competition has been fierce with a record number of nominations submitted in 2023, with entries from individuals, teams, firms, chambers and other organisations across the whole spectrum of its membership.

At last year’s ceremony, Provenio Litigation LLP won the Outstanding Team Award (Litigation), while earlier this year Emma Charnock won the Rising Star Award (Dispute Resolution) at the Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse Awards.

Commenting on the firm’s award nominations, Mark Goodwin, founder and managing partner at Provenio Litigation LLP said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted in the law firm of the year category, it’s a real honour.

“Huge congratulations to Emma as well. In addition to being an outstanding litigator, she is playing an increasingly important part in the ongoing development of the firm. This recognition is well deserved.”

The winners will be announced on 9 November 2023 during the Society’s Annual Dinner at the Liverpool city centre Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Provenio Litigation LLP was launched in 2019 by a team of senior lawyers from DLA Piper to advise on high value and complex business litigation. Led by Mark Goodwin (Hall of Fame, Legal 500) the team has decades of experience at DLA Piper and is well placed to support clients across the UK and internationally.

The firm has successfully implemented its growth strategy by attracting high value instructions, breaking into new areas of work, growing the business through a ground-breaking £50 million litigation funding agreement and investing in the future through the launch of a new graduate solicitor apprenticeship programme.
